Senior Project Engineer
- Performed energy audit of HVAC and plumbing systems, appliances, lighting and building envelope
- Prepared energy model of the building via EA-Quip
- Prepared construction drawings and specifications for the proposed energy measures approved by the client
Kitchen and Associates Architectural Services Inc performed a comprehensive energy assessment that evaluated a suite of potential measures to achieve the project’s performance target and improve the health, safety, comfort, and security of its residents and staff was conducted on this project. As part of the comprehensive energy assessment, 68 apartment units were sampled.
The results of this assessment were detailed in a report to New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency. Based on the initial assessment, a scope of work was selected in consultation with building ownership and management that effectively achieved the project’s performance target. The implementation of this set of improvements was also presented in the report.
