I am a mechanical engineer with a Master of Science degree in Energy Conversions. As one of the foundational areas that define mechanical engineering, it focuses primarily on applying Thermofluid Sciences and Mathematics in design, production, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, such as Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, Refrigeration systems, Steam engines, Internal combustion engines, and Gas turbines.
Efficient utilization of energy is critical in facilities that rely on such mechanical systems to meet their business targets. With a major focus on Energy Conservation, I have extensive experience in design and optimization of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, military, healthcare, and industrial applications.
From fan coil units to packaged air handlers, chillers, condensing units, and cooling towers, I specialize in design and optimization of HVAC systems in different facilities. During my tenure in consulting firms in New York City and New Jersey, I have also gained experience in energy audit and optimization of building envelope, lighting, and plumbing.
My experience also includes HVAC systems design and performance testing, preparing O&M manuals, preparing price quotations, and tracing and expediting the manufacturing of contracted equipment. I have also managed multidisciplinary projects from design to construction and LEED certification.
Feel free to contact me should you need more information about the projects I have accomplished and my areas of expertise.
